Our purpose is simple: help businesses succeed in Muncy and make sure our downtown remains a place people want to spend time. That means supporting economic activity while being thoughtful about preservation, walkability, recreation, and access not just for visitors, but for the people who live here every day.

Downtown Muncy Inc. works to support local businesses, bring people downtown, and move projects forward that improve how our downtown looks, feels, and functions.
Through events, partnerships, and planning, we help create a downtown that serves the community today while preparing for what’s ahead.

- Build a reliable network of volunteers who support businesses, events, and community projects.

- Preserve and improve Muncy’s historic buildings and streetscapes while encouraging thoughtful reuse.
- Promote walkability, bike access, and connections to outdoor recreation as part of a livable downtown.
- Use community events to bring people together and introduce visitors to what downtown Muncy has to offer.
